EXSC 505 Pharmacology for Exercise Physiology

Students learn about the way in which common drug classes work. After learning about how the drugs within each class exert their effect, students use primary research to determine (1) the conditions for which the drugs within each class are prescribed, (2) whether or not exercise is an effective adjunct treatment for the conditions, and (3) whether or not the drugs affect exercise capacity.
