EMBA 606 Operations/Supply Chain Management

The purpose of this course is to provide an introduction to Operations Management and Supply Chain Management strategies at a managerial and/or executive level. This course seeks to provide balance and context among Operations Management and Supply Chain Management’s complementary functions. Consistent with the design and scope of the Executive MBA, the strategic managerial application, rather than the theoretical derivation of decision-making models, will be emphasized. Therefore, this course will utilize a qualitative and an analytical, applications-oriented approach. Analyzing case studies from international organizations will address the strategic and tactical dimensions of Operations Management and Supply Chain Management.
