EMBA 610 Strategic Management Strategic management focuses on leading and managing a firm from the perspective of a general manager. This course addresses the central issue in strategy: How do firms achieve above-average returns and outperform other firms? Students will understand why different industries vary in terms of their attractiveness and why different firms vary in their performances through this course. Students will learn to integrate multiple business functions to formulate and implement strategies to create and sustain competitive advantage.
