ACC 501 Accounting Principles Emphasizes analysis of the required financial statements for financial reporting purposes, including discussions of alternative accounting principles generally acceptable in their preparation. Significant emphasis also placed on the impact that business transactions have on a company’s financial position. Additional topics include profit-planning techniques, such as cost-volume-profit analysis and budgeting.
