STAT 574 Applied Statistics An empirical approach to statistics: generate samples and model distributions; tests of fit to specified distributions; tests of assumptions of randomness (trend); independence (association); biostatistics; product and system reliability. Not open to students with credit in STAT 474W. Completion of a calculus-based probability and statistics course is assumed.
