SWRK 610 Empowerment: Social Justice and Social Change Focuses on the societal forces contributing to oppression, and the resulting impact on individuals, communities and society. Concepts of social justice and empowerment as they relate to gender, race, class, age, sexual orientation and mental and physical status will be organizing themes. Skills will be developed in the range of social change intervention.
