COT 709 Introduction to Statistical Reasoning in Technology This course will introduce the basic concepts, logic and operations related to statistical reasoning. Topics explored within this class include computing descriptive statistics, probability and statistical inference, hypotheses testing, one-way and two-way analysis of variance, nonparametric testing and linear regression and correlations. The course will also describe how to use the Statistical Package for the Social Science (SPSS) for analyzing data.
