SSED 481 The Teaching of Social Studies For intending teachers in middle school (grades 5-9) and senior high schools (grades 7-12). Examines the nature of the subjects included in social science in the public schools and the problems related to the teaching of history and other social studies.
Credit 3 hrs May not be repeated for additional credit Grade Mode Normal (A-F) Course Rotation Fall (in-person/hybrid, hyflex, or online) and Winter (in-person/hybrid, hyflex, or online)
Prerequisites - CURR 332 and SSED 202 Restriction by Major - Restriction by Class - Junior standing or above
Not open to students on academic probation.
