PLSC 434 Governance and Ethics in Public and Nonprofit Organizations This course covers the best practices of nonprofit boards and government boards, board performance assessment, volunteer management and trends in board development. Board composition, recruiting, evaluation, leadership and board-staff relationships are discussed with an eye toward assembling and maintaining the most effective board possible.
