COMM 351 Political Communication


This course uses communication theory to understand contemporary American politics. Students will explore campaign messages, the role of the media in shaping politics, and the ways that symbols shape individuals’ political behavior. Topics include political metaphor, political myth, collective memory, and technology’s influence on politics.
