CHL 355 Children’s Literature in Grades 3-6 Students will study a variety of texts (picture books, novels, comics, nonfiction, and digital texts) appropriate for sharing with readers in the upper elementary grades; will learn to evaluate and analyze literature for children; and will learn strategies for selecting and teaching a diverse set of classroom books for grades 3-6.
