BIO 448 Bioinformatics Bioinformatics is an emerging field that comprises the intersection of biology, mathematics, and computer science to address biological and medical research problems. This course is an introduction to bioinformatics, which includes a survey of existing public databases and strategies for applying bioinformatics techniques to a variety of biological research problems.
