CIVE 317 Fluid Mechanics The course covers the theory of fluid mechanics, including Bernoulli’s Equation, conservation of mass, momentum, energy, and the laminar and turbulent flow. Fluid kinematics, control volume, and differential analysis will also be included. Applications to viscous flow in pipes, flow over immersed bodies, open channel flow, and compressible flow will be discussed.
