ENVI 350 Environmental Engineering This course will give students an understanding of hydrology, water and wastewater treatment, air pollution, solid and hazardous waste management, and risk assessment. Students will carry out material balances and solve environmental engineering problems involving basic chemistry and reactor model concepts. Given a moderately complex environmental quality problem requiring treatment, students will determine if the processes meet industry guidelines and/or public health standards. Selected contemporary issues, such as global climate change, will be addressed.
