COUN 580 Counselor Development: Counseling Process This course is designed to integrate basic skills and to train prospective counselors for the implementation of counseling skills. A major portion of the course focuses on knowledge of the counseling process, stages, and practices. An introductory study of contemporary counseling models is provided. Ethical considerations are covered. Counseling practices for specific issues and populations are introduced.
