COMM 509 Leadership Communication


Communication for Leaders is an applied course that will introduce students to leadership theory as well as the role communication plays in effective leadership. Students will evaluate and utilize numerous communication options to develop an authentic, powerful leadership voice using interpersonal, group, organizational, and technology-mediated communication competencies and techniques. Students will develop a personal model for leadership communication and define an action plan for their growth in a leadership position that is applicable in a variety of leadership contexts.

Credit 3 hrs May not be repeated for additional credit
