LITR 580 Studies in Contemporary Literary Trends


This course is dedicated to exploring modern literary trends and their cultural counterparts, both past and present. Each semester, the course will have a specific focus: poetry, fiction, drama, or criticism. The exact focus area for the semester will be communicated via the class schedule. Students can take this course multiple times to earn additional credits if the focus area changes each time.

Credit 3 hrs May be repeated up to 15 times for additional credit (provided topics are different)
Grade Mode Normal (A-F) Course Rotation Once per year (in-person, occasionally hybrid, or online)

Prerequisites - (LITR 510 , may be taken concurrently) and (15 credit hours in literature)
Restriction by Major - English Language and Literature Graduate Programs  
Restriction by Degree Type - Graduate standing
