COUN 504 Counseling Research This course will focus upon the role of research in the counseling profession. It will address different types of research conducted within the counseling profession and the application of research findings to the practice of counseling.&Topics will include needs assessment, program development & evaluation, the use of research to inform evidence based practices in counseling, and ethical, legal and cultural considerations regarding counseling research. The course will also cover basic statistics, literature searches, the development of literature reviews and APA publication style.
