ECE 608 Leadership and Advocacy This class examines the theories of leadership and advocacy in early childhood education. It will investigate leadership styles, change agency, and systems thinking. It will also explore principles of advocacy, the importance of communication, and a leader’s role as an advocate. Therefore, a minimum of ten clinical hours is required.
Credit 3 hrs May not be repeated for additional credit Grade Mode Normal (A-F) Course Rotation Fall, Winter and Summer
Prerequisites - Restriction by Major - Early Childhood Education [M.A.] Restriction by Degree Type - Masters standing
Additional Information - The course may only fulfill Early Childhood Education [M.A.] requirements if the student earns a “C” or above grade.
