NURS 608 Health Promotion and Disease Prevention


This course provides an overview of health promotion and disease prevention issues across the lifespan. Students will be introduced to relevant theories and research in the field, and “Healthy People 2030” will serve as a framework to prepare Advanced Practice Registered Nurses to provide interdisciplinary, prevention-oriented care for individuals, families, communities, and populations. 

Credit 3 hrs May not be repeated for additional credit
