AFC 603 Internship & Capstone Seminar This course is designed as a practicum by which students of the Applied-track Master of Arts in Africology and African American Studies can acquire a practical experience of either an African American organization or any organization that services a diverse clientele. The seminar must be taken while a student is in an internship program. Involving an advanced and critical survey of major coping strategies typically deployed by racial and ethnic minority communities of the United States, the seminar is designed to help prepare the master’s degree students for effective functioning in their future places of work.

Prerequisites - AFC 501 , AFC 601 , and AFC 602 Restriction by Major - Africology & African American Studies [M.A.] Restriction by Degree Type - Graduate standing
