ATTR 580 Current Issues in Athletic Training Health and Wellness This course provides students with the basic theories and concepts of psychosocial factors in athletic training related to self and patients. The content of the course covers a wide range of topics including but not limited to personality, motivation, and leadership, and involves the study of the theory of psychosocial and emotional responses, sociocultural issues, and mental health as it relates to the medical field of athletic training. Students will be exposed to practical application through the use of in-class activities.
