ESSC 131 The Dynamic Earth Lab This laboratory course accompanies ESSC 130 The Dynamic Earth. Laboratory investigations involve identification, classification, description, and interpretation of Earth materials; use of maps and physical models to identify and interpret geologic processes; and application of the scientific method to solve geoscience problems concerning the geosphere and hydrosphere.

Prerequisites - Level 3 Math Placement, MATH 098 with a “C” or higher, or a “MATH” course (100-499), ESSC 130 (may be taken concurrently) Restriction by Major - Restriction by Class - Undergraduate standing
Additional Information - ESSC 130 must also be taken to satisfy the Knowledge of the Disciplines - Natural Science portion of the General Education program.
