Admission Criteria:
- A Bachelors Degree from an accredited four-year institution
- Official Transcripts from all previous institutions
- Undergraduate GPA of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale
- Two Letters of Recommendation
- Personal Statement
- Tell us if your transcripts accurately reflect your abilities and if not, explain why.
- What is your interest and/or experience in the field?
- What are your professional goals?
Note:
- Criteria for admission is lower than the highly competitive criteria for admission into the graduate SLP program.
- Students admitted to the post-bachelor program are not directly admitted into the graduate Speech-Language Pathology Program following completion of this certificate. Those interested in attending the EMU graduate Speech-Language Pathology Program will need to apply following completion of this certificate.
- This program is designed to be completed in one year, with half of the courses taken during the Fall term and half of the courses taken during the Winter term. Courses are not offered during the summer and are not exclusively offered in the evenings.
