The graduate curriculum in this program is designed to provide a broad philosophy of the fields in the hospitality industry, with an in-depth concentration in the areas of hotel and restaurant management.

Admission Requirements:
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Complete a Graduate Application
- Submit official transcripts from all previously attended colleges/universities (EMU alums do no need to request official transcripts).
- Earned a four-year baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited U.S. institution, or an equivalent degree from a non-U.S. institution.
- A minimum cumulative undergraduate grade point average of 2.7 on a 4.0 scale, or 3.0 in the last half of the undergraduate program.
Students with non-U.S. post-secondary credentials must submit an evaluation of their international transcripts from the Educational Perspectives (EP) credential evaluation service. Click here for additional information.

Deficiency Courses:
Courses determined in consultation with program advisor and completed prior to placement in planned program. Not counted towards graduate degree, but are additional credits required for deficient academic courses.
Degree Requirements: 18 hours
Students must complete a minimum of 18 hours from the following.
