The Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering Technology program applies scientific, computer, and engineering knowledge, combined with technical skills, in support of computerized activities. The computing field is one of the fastest growing segments of Industry, and the program is developed to include many application aspects of computer engineering technology.

Students apply the theories and principles to design, analyze, produce, operate, program and maintain computer and digital control systems. Also, the curriculum includes the study of engineering database management and engineering information technology. More specifically the Computer Engineering Technology (CET) program provides learning opportunities in:
- Computer software development
- Computer hardware
- Web applications and development
- Computer and electrical controls
- Unmanned vehicles and robotics
Opportunities
Students pursuing this major have the opportunities to engage in:
- Project-based learning
- Experiential learning opportunity through co-ops, internships, and the capstone design – manufacturing – programming experience
Career pathways include all sectors of industry with jobs such as software developers, software engineers, hardware engineers, control engineers, and application engineers.
