Whether you want to manage or own a hotel, restaurant, or event planning business, the Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management program is comprehensive and will teach you the skills necessary to take on a leadership role in the hospitality industry. The curriculum offers a variety of specialty courses from an introduction to the industry, food preparation, sanitation, hotel operations, cost controls, legal aspects, human resources, commercial purchasing, to event planning and marketing.
Opportunities
Graduates are readily employable in a variety of hospitality positions, which include: hotel or restaurant manager, event manager, catering director, front office manager, food distributor, club management, and much more. Students have two coop/field placement experiences during their degree program, which enables them to complete the program with work experience on a resume.
