Admission Requirements


Students must meet the following criteria:

  • Graduate School Admission (Criteria)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with a 2.75 GPA
  • Completion of
    • Human Anatomy (SPMD 201  or its equivalent),
    • Human Physiology (SPMD 202  or its equivalent), and
    • Exercise Physiology (SPMD 300  or its equivalent)
  • Three letters of recommendation

Note: Conditional admission for those with a Bachelors Degree in a non-related field will be considered, provided that the student completes Human Anatomy, Human Physiology, and Exercise Physiology courses approved by EMU with a B or better.

Select a focused area of study of six hours in consultation with an advisor, and choose one free elective
