Graduate Certificate in Arts Entrepreneurship

New Program | Fall 2017
Students having completed the Graduate Certificate in Arts Entrepreneurship will have the knowledge and skills to both create and manage their own creative practice or business. These graduates will be able to recognize the different business models, choose the appropriate model for their creative practice, promote and fund their business and develop these projects in a strategic and intentional way. This is an interdisciplinary program shared by the School of Communication, Media and Theatre in the Collge of Arts & Sciences and Management Depertment in the College of Business.

Admission Requirements
This certificate program is available to any student who is fully admitted into an Eastern Michigan University master’s program.
At a minimum, an EMU master’s degree requires the following for full admission:
- Applicants must have earned a four-year baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited U.S. institution or an equivalent degree from a non-U.S. institution.
- A minimum cumulative undergraduate grade point average of 2.7 on a 4.0 scale, or 3.0 in the last half of the undergraduate program
