Hispanic Language and Cultures [Graduate Certificate]

The Graduate Certificate program in Hispanic Language and Cultures is designed to assist candidates in attaining high levels of skill in the Spanish language and greater knowledge of Hispanic cultures. Successful students will gain greater competence in both oral and written expression as well as enhance their knowledge of selected facets of Hispanic life through analysis of current cultural patterns, including those of business and technology.

Program Admission
Applicants must meet the following requirements: - Complete a Graduate Application
- Submit official transcripts from all previously attended colleges/universities (EMU alums do no need to request official transcripts).
- Earned a four-year baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited U.S. institution, or an equivalent degree from a non-U.S. institution.
- A minimum cumulative undergraduate grade point average of 2.7 on a 4.0 scale, or 3.0 in the last half of the undergraduate program.
International Transcripts - Students with non-U.S. post-secondary credentials must submit an evaluation of their international transcripts from one of four approved evaluation services for a detailed, course-by-course report. Applicants should allow 2-6 weeks for the completed evaluation. Please visit International Admissions for additional information.
