The Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management is a five-course (15 credit hours) curriculum designed to prepare professionals who understand and apply human resource practices and strategies in ways that lead to greater organizational effectiveness. Individuals entering the HR field or HR professionals changing from entry-level, professional, or technical roles to managerial roles will find this certificate program beneficial.

Admission Requirements
Minimum Graduate School Requirements
A four-year baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited U.S. institution or an equivalent degree from a non-U.S. institution. In addition, a minimum cumulative undergraduate grade point average of 2.7 on a 4.0 scale, or 3.0 in the last half of the undergraduate program, is required for full admission. Applicants who do not meet minimum admission requirements may be considered for conditional admission. See International Admissions for international applicant requirements.

Degree Requirements: 15 hours
A maximum of three graduate credit hours may be transferred to a College of Business graduate certificate in an area of specialization. Please view the course description for prerequisite.
Required Courses: 6 hours
Restricted Electives: 9 hours
