PHIL 470W - Twentieth Century European Philosophy (GEWI) An exploration of recent developments in European thought. Possible topics include post-structuralist evaluations of Western institutions and ideas, post-Marxist critical theory, the hermeneutic effort to establish interpretation as the basis of philosophical understanding, and the effect of deconstructive thought on philosophy and literature.
