ARTH 470 - Arts of Africa Examines the visual arts of sub-Saharan Africa. Analyzes and investigates the content, materials, techniques and aesthetics of traditional African art within its cultural context. Includes the integration of function and ritual, as evidenced in the tribal objects and artifacts.
