ATTR 326L4 - Practicum III (GELB) This course will provide students with an athletic training experience under the direct supervision of a certified athletic trainer. The content of the course will involve situational orthopedic assessments (upper & lower extremity) , review of therapeutic modalities, skill development in orthotic fabrication, imaging and special testing methods, nutritional aspects of sport, substance abuse counseling, and exposure to general medical situations. The clinical component will require a minimum of 20-25 hours per week.
