SWRK 120 - Introduction to Social Work Services and Professional Roles


This course provides students with an overview and an analysis of the social work profession including social work concepts, practice, and the various roles a social worker plays in the field. A comparison of practice in a variety of social work settings with particular target populations is provided.

Concurrent registration in SWRK 222 /251  is permitted, but not required.

Credit Hours: 3 hrs
