ESSC 307 - Essentials of Oceanography for Elementary Teachers A course designed to prepare Elementary Education majors to conduct classes using marine-based materials. Ocean processes including marine geology, sediments, seawater properties, currents, waves, tides, coastal environments and marine organisms will be discussed. Students will receive hands-on activities created to directly engage K-6 pupils in the scientific method of investigation.
