ESSC 312 - Essentials of the Geosphere for Elementary Teachers
Investigation of plate tectonics; the dynamic processes that causes earthquakes, volcanoes, and mountain building; including earth materials and their relationships with other components of the earth system. Earth science principles and methods applicable to an elementary classroom using simple materials are stressed. Class activity includes simple hands-on demonstrations, and the application of the scientific method.
