FLAN 215 - The Cultures of Mexican-Americans and Cubans in the United States A study of contemporary life of two of the principal Latino groups in the United States. Since their language and literature reflect a unique sociocultural situation, they will be used as a point of departure. Topics will include traditional family structure, economic, political, educational, ethnic and religious backgrounds, artistic contributions and prospects for the future.
