GERN 344L5 - Principles of German Phonetics and Conversation [GELB] Students learn where and how German language sounds are formed and articulated. Pronunciation exercises and applied German phonetics are the basis for improved speaking competence in combination with vocabulary and idiom building. Readings, tapes, video, the Internet and film provide conversation stimulus.
