IS 219 - File Processing and COBOL Programming COBOL programming is an important skill for business application developers. In this class, students will learn to program in COBOL while also learning the basic algorithms for producing reports with multiple control breaks and for processing sequential and random files. All students will design, write, debug and test COBOL programs using good design techniques and software engineering principles. Intended for computer information systems majors and others.
