MATH 409 - Cryptology An introduction to cryptology, the science of making and breaking codes and ciphers. Primes, modular arithmetic, probability, Euler’s phi-function, factoring algorithms, cryptographic and cryptanalytic techniques for classical and modern cryptographical systems including public key cryptography.
