MET 319 - Applied Fluid Mechanics An analytical study of fluids under all conditions of rest and motion. The emphasis is on physical concepts rather than mathematical manipulation. Topics include fluid statics, kinematics of fluid motion, incompressible and compressible flow, impulse momentum principle, fluid flow in pipes and open channels, and fluid measurement. Lecture and Laboratory course.
