PEGN 172L1 - Capoeira [GELB]
This course will introduce students to the Afro-Brazilian martial art, Capoeira Mandinga. Basic concepts of the movement, history and music of Capoeira will be presented with emphasis on the traditions that are followed within the martial art. Calisthenics are necessary for effective class participation.
