PLSC 345 - War and Peace in the Nuclear Age This course is about international security, war, and policies to foster peace under the shadow of nuclear weapons. After investigating power distributions, military strategies, deterrence, arms control and disarmament, great-power concerts, collective security, and multilateralism, as well as negotiation and mediation, the course focuses on nuclear proliferation and international peacekeeping.
