ESLN 315 - Study Skills for the English Language Learner II The purpose of this course is to provide international students with the information and skills that help make the transition to an American college more successful. Students learn how to effectively use their syllabus, determine their own learning styles and study techniques, how to manage their time and prioritize tasks based on individual goals, and to live and learn in a multicultural environment.

Prerequisite(s) Placement by the ESL Advisor according to on-campus placement test through the ESL Office or by the sub-scores on either the TOEFL, MELAB, or IELTS exam (at the time of application, students have the option of providing a TOEFL/MELAB/IELTS score, or taking a placement test upon arrival) Department Permission is required
