ME 317 - Fluid Mechanics The theory of fluid mechanics including Bernoulli’s Equation, conservation of mass, momentum and energy, laminar and turbulent flow will be covered. Fluid kinematics, control volume, and differential analysis will also be included. Applications to viscous flow in pipes, flow over immersed bodies, open channel flow and compressible flow will be discussed.
