NURS 221 - Health Assessment for RNs


This course will build on the RN’s skills to obtain a patient history, and perform a health and physical examination across the lifespan. Emphasis will focus on interviewing patients, hands on physical assessment, documentation and developing appropriate nursing diagnoses. 

Credit 3 hrs May not be repeated for additional credit
Grade Mode Normal (A-F) Course Rotation

Concurrent Prerequisite(s) a minimum grade of “C” in NURS 300W  
Major Restriction(s) NURC  or R2B   
Class-Level Restriction Undergraduate standing
