HIST 205 - American Immigration and Ethnic History This course asks: how has immigration, forced and free, shaped the way we understand the population of America? Students will examine how the racial, class, and ethnic, patterns of immigration have changed over time to shape diversity in the United States and how this relates to their own immigrant or migrant backgrounds.
