COB 200L4 Introduction to Business [GELB] This course is designed to provide students with an understanding of the business professions, knowledge of business disciplines and to begin assessment and development of skills important for effectiveness in business as an individual and a member of a work team. At the end of this course, students will have developed an understanding of how the different business disciplines operate and are interrelated. Students will have developed a career objective and have had an opportunity to learn, practice and develop interpersonal communication, and group and personal effectiveness skills. Both students who have decided on a major within the College of Business and those who are undecided about their major are welcome in this course.
