WRTG 484W Professional Writing Capstone [GEWI] How do students apply writing knowledge and practices learned in their coursework to contexts outside the university? This capstone course is a seminar requiring students to assess their progress in the major and to consider how their beliefs and practices concerning professional writing relate to larger social and rhetorical considerations. Typical projects include an information design consulting project, an informational interview with a practicing professional, researching and presenting on professional writing practices, and a portfolio of writing projects from the student’s coursework framed for employment applications.
